Mornin! Again!

Here is another card I made for this weeks Funky Friday Challenge.

I used SU Perfect Plum, Barley Banana, Old Olive and Creamy Caramel cardstock and a piece of my Hodgepodge Hardware to accent the ribbon. The brads are from my stash and the punches I used were the corner rounder punch and the Eyelet border punch again from Stampin' Up.

I really like this card. I think the colours go really well. I love that about SU, everything co-ordinates.

Good morning!
  I hope you had a really great weekend and are all bright eyed, bushy-tailed and excited about a whole new week to craft in! 7 whole days!

  This is a card that started of as a mixture of two challenges but ended up being for only one!

  It is for the Sketch Saturday Challenge
Here is the original sketch-

  The colours I used were Whisper White, Ballet Blue, Apricot Appeal, Old Olive and a purple backing paper that I've had for about 4 years!

  The stamp sets were Oval All and Oh, So Lovely, both from Stampin' Up.

  Well thats me for now. I got my SU Stampers 10 order yesterday so I am going off to play. I'm so excited, I can't wait!

Funky Friday Challenge # 40!

Morning all!

Cold enough for you yet? Well it is definitley cold enough for me, Brrrrr.

Well this is my entry for this weeks challenge. I've never done a sketch challenge before so I did find it a bit tricky, but that is the point isn't it?

The colours I used were Not Quite Navy, More Mustard, Ruby Red and Old Olive, all from SU.

Well I hope you like it. It's the first card I've made in weeks so I had to spend some time trying to get into the card making flow!

Funky Friday Challenge # 37

Sorry its so late. I finaly started making my Christmas cards last week and suddenly realised that this one was in the right colours for the Funky Friday Challenge! I did add Very Vanilla to the Old Olive, Real Red and Chocolate Chip, but everyone else who entered seemed to add Whisper White so I'm hoping it will be ok:)

I started making the card before I decided on which image to use only to find out that none of my SU Christmas images would fit onto the side panel, so I had to use one that I obtained from elsewhere. I do like the tree but I preferred the tree that was on the back of the stamp. Yes, they were different! But, never mind. At least it fit. I didn't want too cutsy an image as I felt that the colours and DSP were quite elegant. The sentiment came from a retired Su set that I can't remember the name of! Abi?

Anyway. I hope you like it, and thanks for looking!

Hoppy Birthday!

Hello all!

  This is my favourite card of the moment. I just copied the design from a demo on youtube. I can't get the link to work but the title of it is "Fancy Fold Valentines Day Card with Dawn Griffith".

   I used my new Old Olive DSP, Cameo Coral cardstock and inks in the same colours all from SU. The stamp set is a retired set from Stampin' Up called Unfrogettable.

                                                                                        I don't know who is going to get this - I may keep it as I love it so! Never mind, eh?
